You should take Doxycycline once a day with a meal, lots of water and make sure you are sitting or standing. It is important to also leave some time between taking the tablet and going to bed.
Doxycycline is likely to make the skin more sensitive to sunlight, sunbeds and sun lamps should be avoided and a suitable SPF should be worn.
Doxycycline can, for some people, cause nausea, abdominal pain, dizziness and shortness of breath.
Doxycycline should be used while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Doxycycline can interfere with the effectiveness of other medications, so it is important you let us know about any medications you may be taking when you request this treatment.
